Over 13,000 children have benefitted from our floor projects.

School Projects

In and around Homacho, most children attend schools where the dirt floors are covered with cow manure each Friday in an attempt to minimize dust in the classroom. Since 2015, Friends of Homacho has worked with the school district to pour concrete floors in classrooms at schools throughout the region. To date, we have poured 118 floors at 15 schools that have positively affected over 13,000 children.
